Pinterest Trends: What’s Rising Now

What is rising on Pinterest right now, and whether your keyword is.

Rising on Pinterest right now

Loading today’s rising keywordsfrom PinPinterest’s own measurements

One keyword at a time, by the words people type in Pinterest’s search bar. Nothing is fetched from Pinterest: we answer from what PinPinterest has already measured. Pinterest’s own 21 trends for 2026 and how to read its Trends tool are below.

Every rising keyword, by niche, with its curve and history, is in PinPinterest’s Trends tab. This page shows ten.

Quick answer: what is trending on Pinterest changes week to week, and Pinterest publishes it in two places: its Pinterest Trends tool (searches, saves and shopping trends by region, up to two years back) and its yearly Pinterest Predicts report (21 trends for 2026). The list at the top of this page is a third view: the keywords rising fastest in PinPinterest’s own measurements over the last 14 days, with the number of keywords measured. Type your own keyword to see whether it is rising, cooling or steady.

What is trending on Pinterest right now

The table above is updated every day. It shows at most ten keywords, at most two from one niche, so one busy niche cannot fill it. Each change compares the first and the last day we measured in the 14 days: the saves on the top pins our crawl stored for that keyword. That is our number, not Pinterest’s. Pinterest does not publish search counts. Its own tool shows each trend on a 0 to 100 scale (below), so the two cannot be compared one to one. A keyword is never called rising when its numbers are too small or too few, when our newest reading is more than 10 days old, or when it jumped more than threefold in a day, which is our crawl changing rather than people searching more.

Is my keyword rising on Pinterest?

Type it the way people type it in Pinterest’s search bar, then press Check my keyword. You get one of four answers from the same 14 days of our measurements as the table, so the two always agree: rising (up 10% or more), cooling (down 10% or more), steady, or we cannot tell, with the reason. "We cannot tell" is the honest answer for a keyword we have not measured or measured too rarely. To compare keywords on Pinterest’s own data, use its Trends tool, which takes up to four at a time.

Some of the features outlined below are in testing right now, and are only available for certain regions. It runs in a web browser at trends.pinterest.com. For the features made for advertisers, Pinterest says: Log in to your Pinterest Business account to access features specific to advertisers.

How Pinterest measures a trend

Pinterest normalizes search volume by only considering the ratio of searches for each trend to the total number of searches that happened on our platform during the same time frame. To make comparisons between terms easier, the highest point of the search term is indexed to 100, and the lowest point is indexed to 0 on each plot. So a 100 on Pinterest’s graph is a keyword’s own highest point in the window, not a number of searches. Two keywords on one graph are each scaled to their own peak, which is why Pinterest compares up to four at a time on one plot.

Why our numbers and Pinterest’s differ

Pinterest measures searches on Pinterest, normalized to all searches. PinPinterest measures what it can see from outside: the saves on the top pins it crawled for each keyword, day by day. Saves follow searches but also follow what Pinterest chooses to show, so the two usually agree on direction and rarely on size. Our crawl also leans to home, food and lifestyle niches. Use both: Pinterest’s tool for the scale and the season, ours for a quick read on a keyword this week.
