Accessibility

Our aim

We want everyone to be able to use PinPinterest, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. It is a goal we work toward; we do not claim that every page already meets it.

What we do

  • You can always zoom: no page turns off pinch-to-zoom.
  • Our main pages are checked by our tests at phone, tablet and desktop widths, so they fit the screen without sideways scrolling.

What may still fall short

Some charts and the pin designer are visual by nature and may be hard to use with a screen reader, and pictures of pins may have no text description.

Tell us about a problem

If something on PinPinterest is hard to use, please tell us on the contact page or at [email protected]: the page’s address, what went wrong, and the browser or assistive technology you use, if you like. We read every message and will try to fix the problem or give you the information another way.
