How your Pins look in dark mode

Dark mode darkens the screen around your Pins, not the Pins themselves. Pinterest’s own design system, Gestalt, publishes its screen colours: the light background is #ffffff, and the dark one is #111111 in its classic theme and #000000 in its newer visual refresh. A Pin with a solid background looks the same on both. A PNG with a see-through background does not: the dark screen shows through it, and dark words or a dark logo on the see-through part disappear.
