The 3 worst
One account at a time. Nothing is fetched from Pinterest: we answer from what PinPinterest has already read, so a new account may not be in our index yet.
Monitor this account free: see its flag count each time we read it. Every flagged pin, and an alert when one comes back, are in Pro.
Quick answer: type a Pinterest username above. If we have read that account’s pins, you see how many carry each flag, the 3 worst, and what to fix first. Every count is at least that many, because we read some of an account’s pins and never all of them. An account we have not read gets “not in our index yet”, which is not a clean result.
What each flag means
These are the marks Pinterest puts on a pin’s own data, as our crawl reads them.
- Visit button removed: Pinterest took the link off the pin, so it can still collect saves but sends nobody to your site.
- Grouped under another account’s pin: Pinterest treats your pin as a copy of a pin on another account that links somewhere else, so the saves and clicks on the group go to that pin. A copy on your own account, or one that links to the same site, is not counted.
- Kept out of search: the pin carries Pinterest’s no-index mark, so its page is not offered to search.
- AI label: Pinterest marks the image as made or changed with AI, and shows a label on the pin.
When our system detects via the metadata on a Pin that it's been generated or modified using AI, we add a Gen AI label to it.
To check a file before you pin it, use the AI label checker.
The words in quotation marks are from Pinterest Help, Gen AI labels, checked 4 October 2026. What each flag does to a pin and the next steps are our own reading.
Is my Pinterest account shadowbanned?
A shadowban is not something a pin’s data says. Nothing we read from Pinterest carries that word, so this page cannot read one and does not claim to. What it can show is the marks that can be read: if your reach fell, look at them first, then at your own analytics. If Pinterest has stopped your account altogether, that is a different page: account suspended.
What about a blocked link?
We do not count blocked links. Pinterest serves no field for a block, so a number here would be a guess. To test a link, open one of your pins and press its Visit button. If you land on your site, the link is fine. If Pinterest shows a warning page instead, the link is blocked. Pinterest’s rules ask that Pinners should be able to reasonably anticipate where your link will take them
, so link straight to your own site, and leave out link shorteners and chains of redirects.
